ID-Based Remote Data Distributed PDP: Model and Design

Summary
It is important to check the integrity of remote data in cloud computing
environment. When the user data is large, it need many cloud servers to
store it. Thus, it needs the distributed remote data integrity checking.
Provable data possession (PDP) is a good method to check remote data
integrity. Taking use of ID-based public key cryptography, distributed
computing and PDP, we will study ID-based distributed PDP. According to
different application requirements, we propose the corresponding security
models. At the same time, based on bilinear pairings, we will design many
different distributed PDP schemes. These schemes should have their own
advantages. Their security will be proved in the random oracle model (ROM)
or in the standard model. The efficiency will be estimated according to
the computation consumption and communication consumption. At last, the
simulation results will be given.
