Summary
This presentation describes how several
concepts and methods from Complex Networks
have been applied to image and vision
analysis, including image segmentation
(i.e. the identification of the important
regions in an image), texture characterization,
saliency detection and selective attention.
The presentation is developed in a way which
should be completely accessible to undergraduate
and graduate students.
